Learned counsel for the respondents states that as per the instructions dated 18.02.2025 of Government of Punjab, Department of Finance (Finance Personnel-I Branch), the arrears of revised pay/pension/family pension as per the 6th Punjab Pay Commission are to be released in 12 equal monthly instalments w.e.f. April 2025 to March 2026 to the pensioners aged 75 years to 85 years. Learned counsel for the respondents further states that one instalment, which was not paid, has now been credited to the account of the petitioners and the instalment for the month of September 2025 would be paid in the first week of October. 2.
In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off as such. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. AMAN JAIN 2025.09.20 10:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
