FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID19. The petitioner has come up in this civil writ petition under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer by way of writ of mandamus by directing the respondents to count the service rendered by the petitioner from 03.08.1977 to 17.03.1982 as Research Associate on adhoc basis towards pension and pensionary benefits under Rule 3.5 and to give benefit of Rule 3.9 of Statutes regarding Pension and Provident Funds and pension Rules of Punjab Agricultural University
CWP 14632 of 2021 (O&M) alongwith interest @ 12% per annum, for which, a legal notice dated 30.09.2019 (Annexure P-13) has also been served upon the respondent authorities.
Heard.
In the light of oral submissions of the petitioner side the directions are issued to the respondent authorities to duly consider the legal notice dated 30.09.2019 (Annexure P-13) as representation of the petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of passing of this order.
