Instant petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide the recommendation sent by the school management for approval of the petitioner on the grant-in-aid post under the (70:30) pattern as per policy dated 24.02.2015 (Annexure P-8) and to release the consequential benefits and for directing the respondents not to fill the post with any other person. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner has served legal notice dated 04.12.2025 (Annexure P-9) upon the respondents, however, the same is still pending consideration. Learned counsel for the petitioner confines her prayer for disposing of the legal notice dated 04.12.2025 (Annexure P9) and submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied, if the said RAVINDER SINGH 2026.04.27 17:51 I agree to specified portions of this document

CWP-12681 of 2026 legal notice is considered and disposed of by passing a speaking order in a time-bound frame.

Mr. Surya Kumar, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the claim made by the petitioner in the legal notice dated 04.12.2025 (Annexure P-9) in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 7.

The petition stands disposed of.
