FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID19. The petitioners have come up in this civil writ petition under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer by way of writ of mandamus by directing the respondents to remove the anomaly in pay of the petitioners in the light of settled law and to re-fix their seniority in the cadre of Sub Divisional Engineer (Elec) w.e.f. 01.01.1996 and step up pay/pension at par with the private respondent No. 9 who is their junior counter part from the date when respondent No. 9

CWP 14629 of 2021 (O&M) got promotion alongwith interest @ 12% per annum, for which, a legal notice dated 23.06.2021 (Annexure P-1) has also been served upon the respondent authorities.

Heard.

In the light of oral submissions of the petitioner side the directions are issued to the respondent authorities to duly consider the legal notice dated 23.06.2021 (Annexure P-1) as representation of the petitioners and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of passing of this order.
