Learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4 has filed response dated 29.01.2026 through Deputy Superintendent of Police, which is taken on record. He refers to para 7 and 8 thereof, wherein it has been mentioned that letter dated 05.06.2023 had been returned to the complainant-petitioner Bank with an advice to lodge FIR with local police, since consent under Section 6 of DSPE Act for inquiry/investigation was declined by Government of Punjab vide order dated 04.05.2023, Annexure-I. However, even after passage of more than two years, the needful has not been done and instead the present petition has been filed.

In view of the above, this case is disposed of, leaving the petitioner to comply with the aforesaid or to avail of any other alternate remedy that may be available to him, in accordance with law.
