SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 9.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 01.03.2017 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioners to Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali (SAS Nagar). It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The year of birth of petitioner No.1-Sonia is 1998 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and of petitioner No.2Harjit Singh is 28.07.1993 as per copy of Voter Identity Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 01.03.2017 Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Jitender Kumar 2017.03.03 16:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-7362-2017 -2Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali to look into the representation dated 01.03.2017 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office.
