SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners by providing police protection and to decide representation made by the petitioners with a further directions to respondent Nos.2 & 3 not to harass them illegally at the behest of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 28.04.2025 (Annexure P-5), within a time bound manner. Notice of motion.
Mr. Jastej Singh, Addl.AG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and assures the Court that necessary action will be taken on the representation dated 28.04.2025 (P.5) within three days from today by passing a speaking order after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the instant petition. Dismissed as not pressed.
