(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 seeking direction to official respondent no. 3SHO Mullanpur, directing them to obtain "final opinion report" in MLR No.MLR/JSB/64/SDHK/2025, dated 24.03.20234 (Annexure P-2) as per Medicolegal manual of Govt. of Punjab, General Guidelines -Point No.6 & Medico Legal Examination - Point No.10 (Protocol for MLR), sub point 'm' (Annexure P-1) and after obtaining the final medical opinion, relevant sections of BNS be incorporated as per injuries attributed to the petitioner in the MLR in FIR No.48 dated 25.03.2025 registered at Police Station Mullanpur, District SAS Nagar (Mohali).

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that he would be satisfied in case the representations dated 07.04.2025/ 08.04.2025 (Annexure P4 & P-5) be decided in a time bound manner. 3.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Amandeep Singh Samra, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner and further without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), is directed to decide the representations dated 07.04.2025/ 08.04.2025 (Annexure P-4 & P-5) within a period of two months from the date of passing of this order, by passing a speaking order. 6.
