Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the objections dated 23.06.2023 (Annexure P-1), whereby it has been directed by respondent No.2 to respondent No.3 to refix the salary of the petitioner from 01.12.2011 and action be taken for effecting recovery as per Finance Circular 09/2023 dated 03.04.2023 (Annexure P-3). Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondent - Corporation to refund/return the amount of Rs.2,17,193/- deducted from 01.12.2011 to 31.12.2023, along with interest to the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, confines his prayer for deciding representation/letter dated 13.03.2024 (Annexure P-5). I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide representation or letter dated 13.03.2024 (Annexure P-5), expeditiously submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Necessary benefits, if any, found due to the petitioner shall be released expeditiously preferably within a period of 04 weeks thereafter.
