Harminderjot Singh v. Mc Amritsar
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH 236A RSA No. 1470 of 2005 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION :- 15.01.2026 Harvinder Jot Singh ...Appellant
Versus
Municipal Corporation, Amritsar and others and others ...Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellant.
Mr. Sarthak Soni, Advocate for Mr. Sanjeev Soni, Advocate for respondent No. 1. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
Learned counsel for respondent No. 1 submitted that they tried their best but could not find out the current address of the appellant. Notice issued to the appellant on the address given has been received back unserved due to incomplete address. None is present on behalf of the appellant. This is a suit for permanent injunction. It seems that appellant is not interested in pursuing the instant appeal. 2.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellant to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today.
3.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
