Written statement filed on behalf of respondent Nos.2 to 4 as well as Annexure R-4/1 to R-4/3, are taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

A perusal of order dated 18.11.2014 (Annexure R-4/1) shows that the petitioner has been promoted as Junior Engineer-I after deemed date promotion as JE-I by the Chief Engineer/OP UHBVN, Panchkula, w.e.f. 05.06.2007 i.e. the date when his junior was promoted. In this view of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
