Vide order dated 02.06.2017, the petitioner was directed to be released on parole till the next date of hearing on furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Duty Magistrate, Amritsar. Subsequent to the order dated 02.06.2017, the petitioner was released on parole.

Learned State counsel, on the instructions SI Jhirmal Singh, has stated that since the date of his release on parole i.e. 02.06.2017, the petitioner is not traceable. Learned State counsel would further contend that neither the petitioner has surrendered nor he has been arrested till date. 3.
