(ORAL) The present revision petition is directed against the impugned order whereby in divorce petition filed by the petitionerhusband against the respondent-wife in respect of marriage solemnized on 23.12.2007, husband has been directed to pay a sum of `6000/- each to minor children from the date of filing of the petition. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent-wife is earning a sum of `60,000/- per month and after deduction carry home salary comes to `32,000/- whereas the husband is earning `55,000/- per month. Once both the spouses are earning, the responsibility of the children has to be shouldered by both the parents, thus, the maintenance awarded @`6000/- to each of the children is not justified.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, appraised the paper book and of the view that the maintenance awarded @`6000/- to each one of the children cannot be said to be onerous and on higher side as the husband's income is more than wife. In view of aforementioned facts, the impugned order cannot be said to be suffering from illegality and infirmity and the same is hereby upheld. The revision petition is dismissed.
