The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport after deleting name of his wife.

The petitioner, on 10.01.2023, has applied for re-issuance of passport and in his application, he has pointed out that name of his wife may be deleted because he has got divorce from his wife. In support of his contention, he has placed on record judgment and decree dated 09.08.2023 passed by Judge, Family Court-02, South-East, Saket Court, Delhi. 3.
