(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents to release the amount of Contributory Pension Scheme Fund, deposited by petitioner's husband, namely, Constable Karamjit Singh toward the New Contribution Pension Scheme from the date of his regularization, i.e. 22.01.2009 till his date of death, i.e. 09.04.2016 alongwith interest @ 12% per annum.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would be satisfied if his representation, dated 28.05.2020, Annexure P-5, is decided. Issue notice of motion.

Mr.D.S.Sukarchakia, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.
