Prayer made in the present petition for grant of arrears of salary with respect to the services of the petitioner from 19.04.1984 till 31.08.2003. 2.
The petitioner is stated to have been appointed as Science Mistress in the United Christian Girls Higher Secondary School, District Jalandhar and her services came to be terminated vide order dated 15.12.1984 and reinstated on 19.08.2003, Annexure P-5, whereafter, she resigned voluntarily on 21.04.2004. 3.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondent, however, states that in the order passed by the Commissioner, Jalandhar Division in 18.12.1985, Annexure P-3, whereby termination was set aside and she was ordered to be reinstated and liberty granted to the Managing Committee to take action against her, according to law prescribed and there was neither any direction to pay back wages, nor this Court vide judgment dated 24.05.2003 ordered the same. The salary has been denied for the period, she remained out of service on the principle of no work no pay.

As a matter of fact, the petitioner entered into full and final settlement of 2/3rd salary from 17.12.1984 to 30.06.2003, Annexure R-1/1, it being the receipt of the cheque for the said amount of Rs.98,655.99. There was no rebuttal to the above by filing any counter by the petitioner. 5.
