(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner, who was working as JBT (Guest) Teacher came to be involved in a criminal case and was arrested on 4.10.2019. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the petitioner having been released on bail, he is not being permitted to join back the duties although some other identicallly situated JBT (Guest) Teachers had been reinstated vide orders dated 9.6.2020 and 4.9.2013, Annexures P-4 and P-5, respectively. It has further been submitted that the department concerned, till date, has not even initiated any departmental proceedings and that in these circumstances the petitioner deserves to be reinstated. The learned counsel has further submitted that although the petitioner had submitted several representations, the last one being representation dated 22.8.2020 (Annexure P-6), but till date the same have not been looked into. At this stage, Mr. Ravinder Singh Budhwar, Addl.A.G, Haryana, upon whom an advance copy of the petition had already been served, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director, School Education, Haryana to look into the matter and to dispose of the representation dated 22.8.2020 (Annexure P-6) in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of 3 months from today.
