The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus for directing respondent No.2, to decide the statutory appeal dated 10.05.2024 (Annexure P-2) filed by petitioners, against the orders dated 16.04.2024/19.04.2024 (Annexure P-1), passed by respondent No.1. Further prayer has been made to stay the recovery from the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for deciding the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 10.05.2024 (Annexure P-2) expeditiously by passing a speaking order in a time-bound manner. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the appeal dated 10.05.2024 (Annexure P-2) pending before the Appellate Authority shall MOHD YAKUB 2024.05.22 17:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CWP No.12111 of 2024 (O&M) be decided within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Further recovery from the petitioner shall remain stayed and would be subject to the final order that may be passed by the Appellate Authority.
