The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus for directing respondent No.2, to decide the review petition dated 29.04.2024 (Annexure P-3) filed by petitioner, against the orders dated 04.04.2024 (Annexure P-2), passed by respondent No.2, upholding the orders dated 09.06.2023 (Annexure P-1) and modified vide order dated 15.06.2023 (Annexure P-1/A) passed by respondent No.1, whereby punishment for recovery of Rs.11,62,833.50/- has been imposed upon the petitioner on account of the loss suffered by the Corporation. Further prayer has been made to stay the operation of impugned orders dated 04.04.2024 (Annexure P-2), dated 09.06.2023 (Annexure P-1) and dated 15.06.2023 (Annexure P-1/A). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for deciding the review petition filed by the petitioner dated 29.04.2024 (Annexure P-3) expeditiously by passing a speaking order, in a time-bound manner. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the review petition dated 29.04.2024 (Annexure P-3) pending before the Reviewing Authority shall be decided within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Further recovery from the petitioner shall remain stayed and would be subject to the final order that may be passed by the Reviewing Authority. 5.
The petition stands disposed of.
