SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, parents and other relative of petitioner No. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 06.03.2017 (Annexure P-5) submitted by petitioner No. 1 to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1- Ramandeep Kaur is 25.05.1995 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2- Darshan Singh is 18.08.1990 as per copy of Voter Identity Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 05.03.2017 as per copy of Marriage Certificate (Annexure P-3). Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.
In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of Sachin Mehta 2017.03.07 17:21 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
