For the reasons mentioned in the application, the hearing of main petition is preponed and is taken on today's board of this Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide impugned order dated 18.09.2014, passed by learned District Judge, Sonipat, the petitioner has sentenced to undergo imprisoment for a period of six months on account of non-payment of maintenance amount without taking into consideration the provisions of Section 125(3) Cr.P.C. This Court vide order dated 13.06.2016 has granted the last opportunity to petitioner to clear the arrears of maintenance otherwise the Naresh Kumar 2016.12.09 15:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh interim bail granted to him shall automatically vacated.

CRM-27317-2016 in/and -2CRR-3471-2014 After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, going through the record, the present revision petition is partly accepted. The impugned order dated 18.09.2014 is modified and the imprisonment of petitioner is reduced to a period of one month on account of non-payment of arrears of maintenance.
