**** ASHOK KUMAR VERMA , J. (ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 85 dated 02.11.2020 registered under Section 22 of the NDPS Act (Section 29 deleted and Section 25 was added later on) at Police Station Sadiq, Farikot.

Learned State counsel on instructions submits that in pursuance of order dated 07.07.2022 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 07.07.2022 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
