This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS read as Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking directions to respondent No. 2 and 3 to register a cross case against the respondent No. 5, 6 and associates who attacked the petitioner's supporters and caused injuries, as reflected in FIR No. 146 dated 20.12.2025 under Sections 333(452 IPC), 115(2) (323 IPC), 351(2) (503 IPC), 351(3) (506 IPC), 191 (3) (148 IPC), 190 (149 IPC) of BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Meharban District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 04.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.3- Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if RENU RAWAT 2026.05.01 16.14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-23922-2026 directions are issued to respondent No.3- Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana to consider and decide the representation representation 04.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
