This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to take action against respondent Nos.4 and 5 with regard to FIR No.6 dated 19.01.2019, registered at Police Station Nehianwala, District Bathinda, under Sections 376 and 506 IPC. Mr. Amit Mehta, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appeared on behalf of the State through Video Conferencing and at the outset submitted, on instructions from ASI Kaur Singh, P.S. Nehianwala, that respondent No.4, who was accused in the aforesaid criminal case has already been acquitted by the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, vide judgment dated 22.05.2019.

On this, learned counsel for the petitioner has made a statement that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail the appropriate remedy.
