(Oral) Prayer in the present Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside the order dated 12.05.2023 (Annexure P-7) passed by respondent No.3, transferring the petitioner from Moga, Punjab to Gurugram, Haryana with a direction to the respondents to reconsider the representation dated 15.05.2023 (Annexure P-8) submitted by the petitioner to respondent No.2, which has been rejected by respondent No.3 on 19.05.2023 (Annexure P-9).

At the very outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present Writ Petition.

In view of the above submission made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
