FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID19. The petitioner has come up in this civil writ petition under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer by way of writ of mandamus directing the the respondents to count the service rendered by the petitioners on the post of SPOs as qualifying service for the purpose of seniority/deemed date for the post of constable with further directions to grant the benefits of appointment as Constable, for which, legal notice dated 22.11.2020 has also been served upon the respondent authorities by the petitioner.
