(Oral) Challenge is to the order/judgment dated 27.10.2014 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala whereby the judgment dated 25.03.2013 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Patiala has been upheld.

Petitioners were convicted for one year and to pay a fine of Rs. 1000/- each under Sections 406/498-A IPC.

Notice was issued in this revision petition and the sentence of petitioner No. 1 was suspended vide order dated 04.12.2014. Further the conviction of petitioner No. 1 was also stayed. During the pendency of the present petition, the parties were referred to Mediation Centre of this Court and as per report dated GAURAV ARORA 2017.05.31 14:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Crl.Revn. No. 3605 of 2014 -218.05.2017, the parties have settled their dispute. As the matter stands compromised between the parties, the present revision petition is disposed of and accordingly, judgment dated 27.10.2014 and 25.03.2013 are hereby set aside. Petitioners are acquitted of the charges framed against them. Parties are bound by the terms of the compromise dated 08.05.2017.
