Ramesh Kumar v. Vijay Kumar & ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRR No.3615 of 2015 DECIDED ON: 11.02.2019 RAMESH KUMAR ...PETITIONER..
VERSUS
VIJAY KUMAR AND ORS.
...RESPONDENTS..
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: None for the petitioner.
***** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Order dated 09.01.2017, qua deposit of costs has not been complied with.
Perusal of file shows that vide aforesaid order, cost was imposed upon the petitioner on the ground of seeking adjournments. Last opportunity was granted to learned counsel for the petitioner to argue the matter. Despite that, on next dates i.e. 10.07.2017, 28.09.2017, petitioner had gone unrepresented, whereas, on subsequent two dates, case was adjourned on similar requests of learned counsel for the petitioner for adjournment, for which, he was earlier imposed costs of `5000/- Considering the above factual position, it can safely be presumed that petitioner or his counsel is no more interested in pursuing the present petition.
Dismissed for want of prosecution.
