The petitioners were constrained to approach this Court as the amount of compensation awarded to them was not disbursed to them. 2.

The learned State counsel, while referring to Para No.12 of reply dated 1.10.2020, has submitted that the compensation stands deposited in the Court of learned Additional District Judge, Tarn Taran as there was some dispute on account of apportionment of compensation.

In view of the fact that the amount of compensation is stated to have been deposited, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Court, where the amount of compensation stands deposited, to disburse the same in accordance with law.

Since it appears that there was some kind of dispute regarding apportionment of the compensation, which according to learned counsel for the petitioners stands resolved with respondents No.6 and 7, therefore, the Court concerned shall look into the said averments of compromise and in case the compromise is found to be valid, voluntary and genuine then it may choose to act on the said compromise.
