The prayer clothed in the instant writ petition appertains to issuance of directions to the respondents to consider the petitioner's claim for re-appointment/adjustment to the post of Clerk (Ad hoc) under the respondent No.2, strictly in accordance with the applicable rules. 2.
The grievance of the petitioner, as projected before this Court, is that her representation (Annexure P-6), seeking the relief (supra), has not yet been decided by the respondent No.2.

Mr. Sahil R. Bakshi, A.A.G., Punjab, waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent No.1, while Mr. Somesh Gupta, Advocate, waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents No.2 and 3. 5.
Learned counsel for the respondents No.2 and 3 submits that the petitioner's request for appointment to the post of Clerk (Ad hoc) has DEVINDER YADAV 2026.04.28 09:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-12640-2026 already been considered and rejected by the respondent No.2 vide order dated 20.04.2026. A photocopy of the said order has been produced, which is taken on record as Mark 'A'.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the instant writ petition, with liberty to challenge the order dated 20.04.2026 in accordance with law. 7.
Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty (supra).
