The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of order dated 14.03.2026 passed by Ld. National Lok Adalat, Malerkotla. They are also seeking direction to respondent No.1 for modification of impugned order in terms of statement of parties recorded on 05.03.2026. 2.

The petitioners filed a declaratory suit before Ld. Civil Court to the effect that petitioner No.2 is the exclusive owner in possession of the suit land. They also sought setting aside of agreement to sell dated 24.02.2014, judgment & decree dated 09.01.2023 passed by Civil Judge (Junior Division), Malerkotla as well as the sale deeds dated 07.08.2025 on the basis of judgment & decree dated 09.01.2023. The parties entered into compromise dated 11.12.2025. The respondent No.2 (defendant No.2 in the suit) on 05.03.2026 submitted before Court that he has received Rs.24 lacs from the petitioners/plaintiffs and has no objection if the suit is DEEPAK BISSYAN 2026.04.27 16:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-12724-2026 -2allowed in their favour. The matter was referred to National Lok Adalat for consideration. National Lok Adalat vide order dated 14.03.2026 passed a non-speaking order without recording the statement of the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are not resiling from their statements and compromise deed submitted before Civil Court. Their limited prayer is that it may be clarified that compromise deed as well as statements of parties are part of order dated 14.03.2026 passed by National Lok Adalat.

From the perusal of record, it is evident that parties entered into compromise and tendered their statements before Civil Judge (Jr. Division) Malerkotla. The statements were recorded and compromise deed was noticed in the order dated 05.03.2026. On the basis of statements of parties, the matter was put up before National Lok Adalat. In the order dated 14.03.2026 passed by National Lok Adalat it was noticed that statement of plaintiff has been recorded on 05.03.2026. It was also noticed that matter has been compromised. The order dated 14.03.2026 is continuation of order dated 05.03.2026, thus, no clarification is warranted.
