Dhiraj Mahajan, Branch Manager, Gurdaspur Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. have been recorded, separately. Parties have settled the dispute. Out of a total of Rs.2,65,000/-, Rs. 1,30,000/- has been deposited in cash in the Bank and another sum of Rs.1,35,000/- has been deposited by means of a Bank draft. No amount is due qua this petition. The matter has been settled in terms of Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Since the matter has been compounded; the orders of the courts below are set aside and the petitioner is acquitted of the charge levelled. Revision petition is, accordingly, accepted.
