Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned letter memo No.3161 dated 24.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) passed by respondent No.5. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner on duty.

At the outset, learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 6, submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the impugned letter memo No.3161 dated 24.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) passed by respondent No.5 has been withdrawn vide order dated MOHD YAKUB 2026.05.07 15:29 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP-12660-2026 30.04.2026 and the admissible salary of the petitioner would be paid expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is satisfied with the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 6 and the present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
