**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (Oral) In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioners is that the benefit of ACP has not been granted to the petitioners, which is arbitrary and illegal.

A copy of order dated 08.12.2023 passed by the department concerned has been filed by learned State counsel in the Court today and the same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that though the reply to the present petition has not been filed by the respondents-department but vide said order dated 08.12.2023 passed by the department concerned, the benefit of ACP has already been granted to the petitioners and the consequential benefits will also be released to the petitioners within a period of eight weeks from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement made by learned state Counsel recorded herein above, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further.

Ordered accordingly.
