RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to respondents no.1 and 2 to ensure that a fair, impartial and expeditious enquiry is conducted in the complaint bearing No.UID 2306607 dated 18.04.2022 or in the alternative issue directions to respondents no.1 and 2 to transfer the enquiry in the aforesaid complaint to a senior gazetted officer of the police department not below the rank of Superintendent of Police keeping in view the fact that the same is pending since 18.04.2022. It is further prayed to issue directions to respondents no.2 and 3 to submit the current status report.

It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner would be satisfied if his complaint/representation, dated 18.04.2022, Annexure P-1, is decided in a time-bound manner. After hearing counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Additional Director General of Police, NRI Wing, Punjab, Phase VII, SAS Nagar Mohali, to look into the complaint/representation, dated 18.04.2022, Annexure P-1, and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from today.
