The petitioner is also seeking direction to respondents No.3 to 5 to correct the name of her father in their record. Respondents No.1 and 2 in CM-1497-CWP-2021 have stated that the petitioner has already been granted admission in BCA Ist in the Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition, as far as the said relief prayed by the petitioner is concerned, has been rendered infructuous.

CWP-13509-2020 ( O&M ) -2With regard to the second relief, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the reply filed by respondent No. 3 - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to pursue other remedies available to her under law.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty, as prayed for, in respect of prayer made by the petitioner relating to correction of her father's name.

Heard on CM-1497-CWP-2021 for re-calling the order dated 18.01.2021 imposing costs of ` 5,000/- on respondents No.1 and 2. In view of the fact, as stated by learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 to the effect that the petitioner had already been granted admission in BCA Ist in the Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh on 03.09.2020 and this fact could not be brought to the notice of the Court at the time of passing of order on 18.01.2021, the order dated 18.01.2021 imposing costs of ` 5,000/- on respondents No.1 and 2 is re-called and withdrawn. The application is accordingly disposed of.
