**** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case, FIR No.142 dated 05.06.2018, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 325 and 506 IPC, Police Station Chandimandir, Panchkula.

According to the prosecution, on 02.06.2018, the petitioner along with his 3/4 accomplice caused injuries to the complainant and his companion namely, Imran with iron rod. As a result of which, both the legs of injured-Imran got fractured.

Learned counsel contends that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. There is 3 days delay in lodging the FIR, SONIKA 2019.05.23 11:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-54168-2018 ---2-- which has been got registered after due deliberations. Except offence under Section 506 IPC, all other offences are bailable. Petitioner is ready to join the investigation.

On the other hand, learned State counsel strongly opposed the grant of concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
