Speaking orders dated 04.05.2026/07.05.2026 in all the three contempt petitions have been produced, which are purported to have been passed by Director School Education (Secondary), Punjab in deference of the orders passed by the Writ Court. The aforesaid orders are taken on record. 2.

Respondent No.1 - Ms. Sonali Giri, Principal Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of School Education, Punjab has joined the proceedings through video conference. She admits that the orders could not be passed within the time stipulated by the Writ Court. 3.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submitted that even though the orders have been passed, but the benefits have not been released to the petitioners.

Learned State counsel on directions of respondent No.1 assures that the consequential benefits would be released to the petitioner(s) within a period of 1 week from today.

Keeping in view the assurance given by learned State counsel, no further order is required to be passed. However, since the petitioner(s) have been forced to file the present contempt petitions, the present contempt petitions are disposed off with Rs.10,000/- costs to be paid to petitioners . The amount of costs shall be recovered from the pocket of Director School Education (Secondary), Punjab.

All pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall stand disposed off.
