This is a petition filed for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.36 dated 10.03.2025 under Section 303(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 registered at Police Station Division-A, Amritsar, District Amritsar. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that after selling the vehicle, he took it back from the complainant party. It is stated that the petitioner had sold the vehicle on the condition that the EMIs would be deposited by him. Since the complainant did not deposit the EMIs, the petitioner has taken back the vehicle in question.

This Court, vide order dated 01.05.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482 BNS.

CRM-M-23437-2025 -24. Learned State counsel on instructions states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner has cooperated with the investigating officer, the order dated 01.05.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 482, BNS. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
