This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to the official respondents with a prayer to handover the investigation of criminal case having FIR No.0061 dated 20.06.2020, registered at Police Station Handesra, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), to some independent investigating agency or to some senior police officer. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the concerned authorities to consider and decide the representation dated 11.07.2020 (Annexure P-5) in a time bound manner.

At this stage, Mr. Amit Mehta, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appeared on behalf of the State through Video Conferencing and submitted that he has no objection if needful is done.
