SANDHAWALIA, J.(Oral) Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for quashing of orders dated 18.06.2015 (Annexure P-16) and order dated 03.12.2016 (Annexure P-21) whereby the claim of the petitioner for promotion as Head of the Department in Computer Engineering has been declined.

Perusal of the paper book would go on to show that the impugned order (Annexure P-21) was passed on 03.12.2016, whereby in view of the pendency of LPA No.960 of 2013, respondent No.2 has come to the conclusion that the petitioner could not be considered for promotion to the next higher post, which is now claimed.

CWP-15026-2021 -2approached the respondents for redressal of his grievance. Faced with the situation, counsel for the petitioner does not press the petition with liberty to approach the respondents for redressal of his grievance.
