The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. 2.

Through this writ petition, the petitioner claims to be an allottee of a plot in a colony developed by respondent No.5 and is aggrieved by the non-sanction of the building plan.

It has been brought to the notice of the Court that an appeal filed by respondent no.5-the developer, is pending before the Director, Local Bodies, Punjab.

The petitioner has, in the alternative, prayed for direction to the official respondent to decide the appeal filed by respondent No.5. 5.

Civil Writ Petition No. 14880 of 2021 from the Director, Local Bodies, in this regard. She informs the Court that the pending appeal shall be decided within two months. 6.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to respondent No.2 to dispose of the pending appeal within a period of two months after granting an opportunity of hearing to all concerned.
