Mr. Balbir Kumar Saini, Advocate, for the petitioners. KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing due to prevailing situation of COVID-19.

This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to get conducted free and fair investigation on the complaint/representation (Annexure P-2) dated 08.06.2020 of the petitioners with regard to FIR No.58 dated 30.03.2020, registered at Police Station Dharamkot, District Moga (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the aforesaid complaint/representation was sent to the office of respondent No.3 through registered post and he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the said respondent to consider and decide the complaint/representation (Annexure P-2) in a time bound manner.

At this stage, Mr. Amit Mehta, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appeared on behalf of the State through Video Conferencing and submitted that he has no objection if necessary direction is given. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2020.09.04 16:46

CRM-M-26231-2020 -2respondent No.3 to consider and decide the complaint/representation (Annexure P-2) expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, both the parties be also heard before disposal of the complaint/representation (Annexure P-2) by respondent No.3.
