JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (ORAL ) Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, has submitted that he does not press the prayer with regard to the alleged fraud committed by the private respondents against the petitioner, however, he submits that he has threats at the hands of the private respondents. He prays for the withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, for protection of his life and liberty.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, with regard to the protection of his life and liberty. It is needless to say that in case the police officials on the basis of the threat perception find that there is a reasonable threat to the petitioner appropriate action may be taken in accordance with law.
