PP, UT, Chandigarh --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate protection to them and also directing the respondents No.4 to 9 not to interfere in the personal lives and liberty of the petitioners. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the representations dated 3.5.2024 and 16.5.2024 (Annexures P-1 and P-2), within a time bound manner.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the representations (Annexures P-1 and P2) and decide the same by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks.
