**** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.117 dated 20.08.2018, under Section 63 of Copyright Act, 1957, Police Station "E" Division, Amritsar (P-1) along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 07.12.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 17.12.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.2012 dated 17.12.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Amritsar, vide Endst.No.12616R dated 18.12.2018.

CRM-M-54327 of 2018 --2-- Amritsar is satisfied that parties have made an amicable settlement and have recorded their statements in the court without any fear, apprehension, undue influence or coercion. The compromise is genuine, voluntarily and out of free will of the parties. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.

In compliance of order dated 25.01.2019, receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar, dated 17.12.2018 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.117 dated 20.08.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.

Disposed of accordingly.
