The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to consider its application for settlement of dues.

The petitioner claims that with respect to disputed liability, it has filed an application before competent authority in term of "Dues Recovery and Settlement Scheme 2019-20" launched by respondents. The said application is pending for last four years. The respondents are not adjudicating the said application which is causing irreparable loss to it. 3.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court, accepts notice and waives service.

With the consent of both sides, the petition is taken up for final disposal.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab submits that petitioner is not furnishing requisite documents, thus, competent authority is unable to adjudicate its application.

Without commenting upon merits of the case, the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondents to adjudicate application of the petitioner seeking settlement of dues. It is made clear that respondents shall in writing ask the petitioner to furnish requisite documents within two weeks from today and petitioner shall thereafter, within four weeks, furnish those documents. The competent authority shall decide application of the petitioner within six weeks from furnishing of documents by petitioner.
