Instant petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for directing the respondents to count the entire service rendered by the petitioner on the post of JBT Teacher in a Punjab Government Aided School i.e. respondent NO.4 from 28.09.1972 to 29.10.1974 towards qualifying service for the purpose of pension and other retiral benefits along with consequential arrears and interest. Further prayer has been made for directing the respondents to grant the benefit of the aforesaid service rendered from 28.09.1972 to 29.10.1974 for the purpose of pay fixation of the petitioner at the time of his joining the Government service on 31.10.1974 in terms of Rule 4.4 of the Punjab Civil Services Rules, Volume-I along with all consequential benefits.

After arguing the case for some time and realising that this Court is not inclined to interfere in the present case as the petitioner RAVINDER SINGH 2026.04.28 09:55 I agree to specified portions of this document

CWP-12726 of 2026 retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2007, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition.
