ARUN MONGA, J.(ORAL) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr. P.C.') seeking directions to respondents to hand over investigation of FIR No.79 dated 03.11.2016 registered under Sections 120-B, 302 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short "IPC") at Police Station Sadar Rampura, District Bathinda, to crime branch or some senior IPS officer. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Karan Singh, submits that after investigation it has been found that suspicion of the complainant/petitioner against the private respondents is unfounded and since they have been found innocent, cancellation report has been prepared and will be filed in due course.

Being so, no further proceedings are warranted before this Court. 4.

Dismissed.

Needless to say that dismissal of this petition shall not be construed, in any manner, to be an impediment to the right of petitioner to file an application before the Court below to object to the report, ibid, in case he wishes to do so.
