The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.18 dated 11.04.2024 under Section 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station NRI, District Hoshiarpur. 2.

On the last date of hearing i.e. on 29.05.2024, while noticing the following submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court had granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner and asked him to join investigation: "Learned State counsel, on instructions, has not disputed the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner that even as per the allegations levelled in the FIR, petitioners were not to be beneficiaries but the only role attributed to them was of having witnessed the Will in question."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 29.05.2024, petitioner has joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer. 4.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has not disputed the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned State counsel has further submitted that the petitioner is not required for custodial interrogation.
